Just move the slider on the screen to switch from 2 to 64 magnification of the image. You can enable or disable the viewfinder just touch the screen.

I have the iPhone 4S and say dont waste your money on this app!!! I purchased it with the hopes of being able to see butterfly eggs, first instar caterpillars and small insects. It works at really low levels of magnification but truly worthless at anything higher. That pic of a bug at 16X is a ripoff!!! So is the 64X image. Unable to contact App Support - website is not in English.
